So how do you get ALL the electric features back? autopark? auto mirror tilt? auto touch to lock / unlock etc? you only say you have to reset those too? I have a Xentry. Waiting on the dealer to respond...

It was and is a bad buy, bought it to code, disabling the start stop system, the coding menu is not present, so coding is not possible. Furthermore, it concerns a one-year subscription, after 1 year you pay the full price, no discounts.

This scanner is GREAT for checking ACTUAL miles VS what the odometer says. Most shady car sellers only adjust the odometer not the ECU mileage.

There is no OBD or even scanner will be able to work on mercedes since 2021/2022 since merceds locked their ECUs on all their car and I have Carly and many other scanners and their providers says this on their websites. Too bad.

hi I have changed the aux battery on my 2013 ML 63 and now the car doesn’t start only the ignition comes on Any thoughts ? Did you have to reset/plug the obd in after changing the aux battery?

All very useful thank you. Second batteries all new to me. Only thing missing is that there was a hard plastic cover over the aux battery. I have to discover how to remove the two plastic knobs that look like trim buttons. I have a trim tool. Tomo perhaps.

I broke the brittle plastic washers attempting to take the bolts out of the housing like in your part 1... I'm thinking of applying water resistant silicone grease around the bolts when I screw it back on to prevent water from entering the assembly. Do you think this would work vs replacing the entire assembly?

You can most defiantly get it wet (not soaked) with water, it's not as fragile as people make it out to be. I have been using warm water to clean my wheel for 3 years now and it looks and feels brand new. Just need to dry it well and follow up with a horse hair brush when its dry.
